Smart tips! Social is the great equalizer. It dissolves walls, builds connections and helps you connect with candidates from a wide range of disciplines. I even know of a guy who has connected with folks on social for a prospering partnership, the first contact about said partnership being on Facebook 😉 Seriously though, get those adverts out there regularly and be persistent.
